Friday 30th September
LET’S BUY HAPPINESS will play a very special ‘Month of Fridays’ set for MOF005, with support from FANTASY RAINBOW and CROOKED HANDS. With DJ sets from Crack in the Road.

MOF are ecstatic to announce that 5 of our collective (a.k.a. Let’s Buy Happiness) will be headlining MOF005.
We can think of no better way to see in the end of the month (and to celebrate pay day and another MOF organiser’s birthday) than a special night curated by the band.
But this will not be any old Let’s Buy Happiness gig - we’ve plenty of tricks up our sleeves to make this a very special evening and the band will be transforming all your favourite tracks in a way that’s not been heard before.
Let’s Buy Happiness - Dirty Lakes by letsbuyhappiness
For the unitiated, Let’s Buy Happiness mix delayed guitar soundscapes with the clipped Nordic-sounding vocals of lead singer Sarah Hall. The band has supported the likes of Idlewild, HEALTH and Frankie & the Heartstrings and played Glastonbury, The Great Escape, Kendall Calling and many UK dates over the last two years.
Self-released EP ‘No Hot Ashes’ was followed by hugely acclaimed singles ‘Six Wolves’ and ‘Fast Fast’ picking up plays on Radio 1, 6Music, Amazing Radio and XFM, and much love from Drowned in Sound, Q Magazine, NME, The Fly, The Guardian and Nylon.
Let’s Buy Happiness have been busy recording tracks for their debut album and return with new single ‘Dirty Lakes’ on September 26th. Check out their new single above and recorded alongside two more new songs recorded live for Huw Stephens at Maida Vale.
Plus support from…

Fantasy Rainbow is Richmond’s Oliver Catt who specialises in slightly hazy summery pop.
The ‘Teens’ EP is released on Tiny Lights Recordings on August 15th on Limited CD and download and can be purchased at BandCamp.
‘Cool Ridge’ has gained early support from John Kennedy at XFM and Jon Hillcock at 6Music.

Crooked Hands is the songwriting pseudonym of Christopher Brown.
With atmospheric vocals, honest lyrics and spacious arrangements, his live shows are drawing comparisons to Bon Iver and James Vincent McMorrow.
With DJ sets by Crack in the Road.
